VIETNAMESE THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE TRAINING FOR 32 BLIND STUDENTS SPONSORED BY OMAMORI SPA, BLINDLINK
Today, at the National Training and Rehab Center for the Vietnamese Blind (217 Trung Kinh, Hanoi), the opening ceremony took place in an atmosphere filled with delight and enthusiasm. This course is aim to provide learning opportunities and career development for Vietnamese visually impaired individuals.
32 students are eager to acquire new skills under the guidance of 03 lead teachers and 03 teaching assistants in collaboration with 1 sighted coordinator to ensure the intense program runs smoothly.
What sets this course apart is its detailed and hands-on teaching approach. For many students, this is their first opportunity to learn warm-up exercises for their hands and proper breathing techniques. Teachers place strong emphasis on body positioning during each technique—a concept that is often entirely new to blind therapists. Many of them tend to over-rely on their arm strength, which can lead to back pain. This course helps address these challenges, ensuring a safer and more effective practice.
The opening ceremony marks not just the beginning of a learning journey but also the promotion of compassion and care for the visually impaired community. This is more than just a vocational course—it is a gateway to new opportunities, empowering participants to believe in their abilities and build a brighter future.
