Hoàng Thị Quỳnh Trang, born in 2002, hails from Hanoi and is currently working as a masseuse at the National Training and Rehab Center for the Vietnamese Blind. She is one of 32 blind students attending our advance Vietnamese non-oil therapeutic massage course in December 2024.
Trang was diagnosed with an eye condition that caused her vision to deteriorate gradually from a young age. Initially, she could still see and attended school like other children, but over time, her vision became increasingly blurry, eventually forcing her to give up her studies. This was a heartbreaking period in her life, and she struggled with sadness for a long time.
Her turning point came when she was introduced to massage training for blind youths. Through this opportunity, her life began to change. She discovered that she could still work, contribute, and find joy in life. Today, Trang feels more confident and optimistic about her future.
Currently, Trang is actively learning and improving her massage skills. She approaches her training with determination and a drive to provide the best possible service to her clients. Her journey is a powerful reminder that with effort and perseverance, challenges can lead to new opportunities and growth.
