BlindLink’s inaugural Ninh Binh Swedish Massage Training program
We are excited to announce that BlindLink’s inaugural Ninh Binh Massage Training program has commenced with resounding success as of August 24.
Initially, this program was to begin in September, but due to fresh outbreaks of COVID-19 in Da Nang and Hanoi and some other provinces, it was decided to move the dates forward, shorten the number of weeks from eight to six, and lengthen the hours of training each day and increase the teacher-student ratio to ensure the full requirements of training can be met. Thus, by having begun early, it is hoped that all participants will be able to complete the full program of training early, and be able to return home before any further outbreaks result in travel complications.
We are thrilled that, in spite of the barriers faced by the participants, and due to the extreme generosity of you, our donors, we have filled 14 of the 16 available training positions.
The photos you see here were taken onsite during the first four days of training. Though the facilities are basic and the long hours of training are grueling, the enthusiasm is high.
We would once again like to thank each of you who has donated to make this program possible.
