March 20, 2020: House mobile treatmnet

We had our first mobile massage experience today. We were requested by our regular customer, Mrs. Shannon, to perform the treatment at her house during the time all spas were required to shut down for coronavirus containment. 

Fortunately, the weather was very nice - without rain and mild sun - despite the weather forecast that it would rain all week. It took us a while to reach the right location, about 3 km from the Old Quarter. 

Upon arriving at the place, we called her phone and Mrs. Shannon appeared immediately. She stood at the door smiling, then inviting us in. Walking into the house, we were pleasantly surprised. It is modern with a cool green garden, small fish pond with trickling sounds. On the way, I had mentally reminded myself of the things I needed to follow as per Omamori Spa's service procedure, so I was ready. I prepared 4 towels including bed cover, body cover, facial and foot ritual towels besides the headrest face cushion and massage oils. 

When she invited us into her massage room, I was surprised that the things we brought were no longer needed. Everything was well-arranged: a hard mattress covered by a towel, folded light blanket underneath. Everything was the same as the standard we expected at the Spa: Gentle light, moderate temperature, aroma, cleanliness, soft music, and a bottle of coconut oil. Bathroom water heater was also turned on for the foot ritual. What a professional and meticulous customer! I double-checked everything and then added the face cushion I brought so that she could lie down comfortably on the mattress. 

Like the procedure at the spa, I confirmed the treatment and the areas she would like to focus as well as avoid massage. I also helped cover her body with the towel. Then Công, her regular therapist, started while I sat down on a chair to wait for him. The massage went very well since therapists were well-trained on how to provide the treatments on the mattress.
