Born in 2002 in Vinh Phuc province, Minh’s early life began with the promise of a healthy childhood. However, at just two years old, her life took an unexpected turn. A fever led to an injection from a local health clinic, and an allergic reaction developed overnight. By the next morning, her body was covered in sores, and her eyes were swollen shut, unable to open.
Minh was rushed to the National Children’s Hospital for emergency treatment. While her body recovered, her eyes bore the most serious aftereffect. Despite multiple surgeries to save her eyesight, her vision remains very blurry today. To monitor her delicate eye health, she must undergo regular check-ups every two months.
Due to the prolonged medical treatment, Minh started school later than her peers, joining first-grade students at the age of 11. The initial days were incredibly difficult. Her classmates would often exclude and tease her, leaving her feeling profoundly lonely and out of place. Yet, with time, their attitudes shifted. They became more friendly, offering help and kindness that slowly but surely helped Minh regain her confidence and motivation to continue her studies.
This June 2024, Minh proudly graduated from high school. A new chapter began to unfold through a friend’s recommendation, which led her to discover Blindlink and Omamori Spa. She decided to sign up, eager to begin working to support herself and help her parents. Minh was one of most serious and hard-working students attending our Vietnamese non-oil therapeutic massagee course organized in July 2024. This step marked a significant turning point in Minh’s life, opening up new opportunities for personal development and contributing to her family’s well-being.
Minh as remarked by her friends, possesses a unique blend of sensitivity, introspection, and quiet strength “There are times you can’t tell anyone how you feel. Not because you’re unsure of your own desires, or because you lack trust. But simply because no words feel adequate to explain. On such sad days, you can only tuck away your worries, quietly grappling with them alone. Some things are just unspeakable…”. Though naturally quiet, Minh shared a powerful aspiration at the training course: “I want to perform the signature treatment Zen-in-the-Heart at Omamori Spa one day.” Her quiet determination speaks volumes, embodying a spirit that seeks not just to overcome, but to excel.
