Minh was born in 2002 as a healthy baby in Vinh Phuc province. When she was two years old, she became ill with a fever, her family called a doctor from the local health clinic to administer an injection. However, she had an allergic reaction to the injection. The reaction didn’t occur immediately but instead developed overnight. The night before, she had received the injection, and by the next morning, her body was covered in sores, and her eyes were swollen shut, unable to open.

Minh was taken to the National Children’s Hospital for emergency treatment after experiencing a severe allergic reaction. The most serious aftereffect she suffered was in her eyes. Minh had to undergo several surgeries to save her eyesight, but despite the efforts, her vision now is very blurry. To monitor her eye health, she has to go for regular check-ups every two months.
Due to the prolonged treatment, Minh started school later than her peers, at the age of 11, joining first-grade students. Initially, she faced difficulties as her classmates would exclude and tease her, leaving her feeling lonely and out of place. However, over time, her classmates’ attitudes changed as they became more friendly and began to help her. Their kindness helped Minh regain her confidence and motivation to continue her studies.

This past June, Minh graduated from high school. Through a friend’s recommendation, she learned about the Blindlink and Omamori Spas and decided to sign up, starting to work to support herself and help her parents. This marked a new chapter in Minh’s life, opening up opportunities for her to develop personally and support her family.
