At Omamori Spa, we’re deeply committed to empowering our visually impaired and blind therapists. That’s why, we organized a crucial Safety and Mobility training program. This specialized training helps our therapists develop foundational skills, making it easier for them to move around safely and confidently.
The program was designed to be incredibly practical and hands-on. Our therapists received detailed advice and practical training on how to effectively use their residual vision, alongside comprehensive instruction on using a white cane. The trainer engaged them in active discussions and provided valuable feedback after offering a wide range of assignments, ensuring that the learning was truly immersive.
Our goal was clear: to do more than just teach techniques. We wanted to share real-world experiences, enabling our therapists to effectively apply what they learned in various situations. This dedication to practical application is key to building genuine independence.
